What materials do you use in your jewelry?
We use gold-plated bronze, sterling silver, and solid 10k & 14k gold. Our pieces also feature ethically sourced gemstones and deadstock German and Czech glass.
Is your jewelry nickel-free/hypoallergenic?
Yes! All of our jewelry is 100% nickel-free and safe for sensitive skin.
How do I determine my ring size?
We recommend visiting a jeweler for the most accurate sizing or purchasing an inexpensive ring sizer online.
How should I care for my jewelry?

Will my gold-plated jewelry turn my finger green or fade quickly?
We use micron plating, which is a thick, high-quality coating of 14k gold. Our plating exceeds industry standards, ensuring your jewelry lasts for years with proper care. Please refer to our Jewelry Care Guide for tips on keeping your pieces looking their best.
Do you offer solid gold pieces?
Our window for accepting solid gold custom orders has closed for 2026.

When will my order ship?
Production times are available in the product listings and invoices. Made to order styles vary from 3-7 weeks, depending on the style, and in stock items ship within 1 week.
We are a small business, and shipping times may vary. If we anticipate any delays, we will notify you via email as soon as possible.
If your order is time-sensitive, please contact us before placing your order. While we will do our best to accommodate requests, we cannot guarantee rush shipping.
What shipping method do you use?
Shipping Method: All US orders are shipped via USPS Ground Advantage and may take up to 10 business days to arrive.
Lost in Transit: If an order is lost in transit, we will file a claim after 12 days and arrange for a replacement at no cost to the buyer.
Responsibility During Transit: Buyers are not responsible for items while they are in transit. However, Heron and Lamb is not liable for items that are stolen after delivery. We highly recommend ensuring that your order will be delivered to a secured location. We offer signature upon delivery to prevent theft or misdelivery.
Incorrect Addresses: We do not offer refunds or replacements for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided at checkout.
If an order is shipped to an incorrect address, we can attempt a package interceptthrough USPS.
USPS charges a $27 fee plus the cost of updated postage to intercept a package
This fee must be paid before we can attempt the intercept.
Please double-check your shipping address carefully before placing your order. Heron and Lamb is not responsible for packages that are undeliverable due to incorrect, incomplete, or outdated addresses provided at checkout.
If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or undeliverable address (including failure to update your address after a move), the following applies:
You will be contacted via the email provided at checkout.
You may choose to have the order reshipped to an updated address. A new shipping fee will apply.
We are unable to refund or replace orders marked as undeliverable by the carrier unless the package is returned to us in good condition.
Please double-check your shipping address before submitting your order. Heron and Lamb is not responsible for lost or delayed packages due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.
International Orders & Customs Policy
We proudly accept orders from customers worldwide. However, please note that all international orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, and import fees as determined by your country’s regulations. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. We do not have control over these fees, nor can we predict their amount.
By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for any applicable customs charges. If you refuse to pay these fees and the package is returned to us, a refund will be issued for the item(s) only, excluding shipping costs. Please note that customs fees are separate from the cost of shipping paid at checkout.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the production timeline listed on the product page. Production, material sourcing, and fulfillment preparations begin shortly after an order is placed.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the stated production timeline prior to purchase. Orders should not be placed with the expectation that production times can be shortened or expedited unless such arrangements have been confirmed in writing prior to purchase.
If an item is needed for a specific holiday, event, birthday, wedding, vacation, or other special occasion, customers should contact us before placing an order to confirm availability. We are unable to guarantee delivery by a specific date unless expressly agreed to in writing.
Requests for cash refunds, cancellations or a waiver of the 25% cancellation fee based solely on an item not arriving in time for a desired date will not be approved when the order remains within the stated production timeline accepted at the time of purchase.

Orders may be cancelled without a cancellation fee within 48 hours of purchase.
After 48 hours, cancellations are subject to a 25% cancellation fee to cover administration costs, materials, production scheduling, and labor already allocated to your order.This fee may be waived if an order has exceeded the maximum stated turnaround time.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at our sole discretion. In the event an order is canceled by us, any payment received will be refunded in full.
By placing an order, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the handmade, made-to-order nature of our work.

We do not offer cash refunds. Eligible items may be returned for store credit or exchanges within 7 days of delivery.
Due to the handmade, made-to-order nature of our jewelry, production timelines vary by design and are stated on each product listing. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and accept the stated production timeline and understand that production, material sourcing, and fulfillment preparations may begin shortly after an order is placed.
To be eligible for store credit or exchange, items must be unworn, undamaged, and returned in their original condition. Return shipments must be postmarked within 7 days of the recorded delivery date. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service— Heron & Lamb is not responsible for return packages that are lost, stolen, misdelivered, or damaged in transit.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery and provide photographs of the item and packaging so that we may review and resolve the issue.
Cancellation requests may be submitted within 24 hours of purchase. After 24 hours, production, sourcing, or fulfillment preparations may have begun and cancellation requests may be denied.
Original shipping charges, rush processing fees, customs duties, taxes, tariff charges, and other third-party service fees are non-refundable and are not eligible for store credit.

We no longer accepted commissioned projects. -
Do you offer repairs?
Yes! We offer repairs for Heron and Lamb jewelry including chain replacement, replating, and cleaning for a small fee. Please check out our repair section for our policy and pricing. We do not provide repair services for pieces not made by us.
Please note that we cannot guarantee repairs for discontinued designs, retired collections, or one-of-a-kind pieces, as we may not longer have access to the original stones, materials, components, or processes used in their creation.
